In summary, Nilfisk will process your personal data - names, billing and delivery addresses, email and/or IP addresses, telephone numbers, credit card numbers and bank account numbers necessary to sell, deliver, maintain and service the Products, for the following purposes:

- Communication and tracking of your purchase orders, including delivery to your address;

- Invoicing and processing of your payments and related communications;

- Communicate with you to provide service and maintenance of the Products you purchase.

Nilfisk uses Shopify Inc, 151 O'Connor Street, Ground floor, Ottawa, ON K2P 2L8, Canada to process your payment-related activities when ordering Products. Shopify processes your name, billing and shipping addresses, email and/or IP addresses, phone numbers, credit card numbers and bank account numbers. Nilfisk also shares your name, address and other contact information with courier services that deliver your order, including FedEx in the UK. Nilfisk also shares this data with its service partners who provide repair, service and maintenance of the Products you purchase. The list of service partners is as follows:

Nilfisk uses Klaviyo Inc., 225 Franklin Street, Boston, MA 02110, USA, to manage customer communications. As part of the integration between our Shopify platform and Klaviyo, certain customer data (including name, email address, order and purchase history, and website browsing behavior) is automatically transferred to Klaviyo regardless of whether you have opted in to marketing. This baseline transfer and storage is necessary to send you transaction-related messages (e.g., order confirmations) and is based on our legitimate interest and performance of our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Use of your data for marketing purposes (newsletters, product recommendations, campaigns) only occurs where you have actively consented, per the Danish Marketing Practices Act §10. You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time via the link in our emails or by contacting us, without affecting your ability to receive transaction-related messages about your purchases.

As Klaviyo is based in the US, your data is transferred outside the EU/EEA on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Sharing customer information with review services
To improve our products and services, we invite some customers to provide feedback on their purchases through third-party review services (such as Trustpilot). In this context, we may automatically share your name and email address with the review service so that you receive an invitation to write a review.

This processing is based on our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) and applies only to customers who have actually made a purchase with us. You may opt out of such invitations at any time, and instructions for unsubscribing will be included in the invitation email.
